Service Loaners Are Back
For your convenience we have brought back our Service Loaner Program.
After 15 years of offering service loaners to our customers, we were forced last year to discontinue the program due to insurance restrictions. We are again able to offer this valuable program to you*, at least through August, 2009. That's when our insurance renews and hopefully we can extend it for another year.
So, How Does It Work?
Simply request a service loaner when you schedule your service appointment.
Be sure to let us know if you have any special requests, such as a low seat height or a specific model that you are interested in trying out, and we'll do our best to accommodate you. A loaner bike will be waiting for you when you drop off your bike.
Rules and Restrictions
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must have valid drivers license with motorcycle endorsement.
(No temporary permits)
• Must have proper protective gear. Minimum legal requirements include a DOT approved helmet and eye protection, although we strongly encourage protective jacket, pants, gloves, and boots.
• Must sign release waiver.
• May not be impaired from alcohol or drugs (including medications).
• You are responsible for any damage, tickets or other issues.
• Return bike with full gas tank.
The above items are not negotiable. We have a couple of other rules:
• Loaner bikes are intended for a maximum loan of 24 hours.
• Loaner bikes are available when service or repairs are expected to take at least 3 hours.
These last two are really more guidelines than rules. Since the loaners are offered for your convenience, we will do our best to accommodate your needs as long as you make them known in advance.
*Service Loaners are available to qualified riders only and are subject to the above rules and requirements. Brown Motor Works reserves the right to deny use of a Service Loaner to any person who they deem to be unqualified.
