The new BMW M1000 RR offers a larger wheelbase, reduced triple clamps’ offset, and increased steering head angle for more stability. Its advanced Flex frame has several openings in the side areas to provide more precise handling and rider feedback. In addition, the bike comes with a standard M Chassis Kit, which allows chassis geometry adjustments. It has a higher windscreen, bigger and re-shaped wings for more downforce, and an easy-to-remove rear wheel. A shorter license plate holder, redesigned rear section, rear USB charging port, and wiring harness are available for easier removal of the license plate frame. The BMW motorcycle also offers a 6.5-inch TFT instrument cluster with four screen layouts and a Multi-Controller on the left-hand handlebar panel. It has a standard lightweight lithium battery, conventional fully adjustable suspension, and an optional electronically controlled Dynamic Damping Control DDC suspension linked to the riding modes. The superbike has a revised 4-cylinder in-line engine that generates 205 hp and a maximum torque of 83 lb-ft. It offers a shorter secondary gear ratio to increase the rear wheel traction. In addition, the new BMW M1000 RR provides a cylinder head with new intake port geometry for optimum power delivery. The engine comes with BMW ShiftCam Technology to increase torque in the low and medium speed range. It also offers Dynamic Traction Control DTC with a new Slide Control function for drifts while accelerating using a steering angle sensor. The bike provides four standard modes: Rain, Road, Dynamic, and Race. It also has optional Pro Modes offering Race Pro 1, Race Pro 2, and Race Pro 3. In addition, a standard Hill Start Control and optional Hill Start Control Pro are available.
It provides an advanced Shift Assistant Pro for upshifting without clutch actuation, rider Launch Control for active support on race starts, and Pit Lane Limiter for safety.
