BMW has unveiled the 2023 BMW M 1000 R. It is the second world’s most powerful M model from BMW after unveiling its first edition about two years ago. It is an upgrade of the first edition of the M lineup, offering legendary performance and best-in-class styling.

The 2023 BMW M 1000 R houses a water-cooled 999-cc four-cylinder engine that revs at about 14,600 rpm compared to the previous 12,000 rpm. The M 1000 R is incredibly fast, going from 37 mph to 62 mph in about 2.9 seconds and from 62 mph to 93 mph in just 2.5 seconds.
The BMW M 1000 R motorcycle offers the best-in-class riding experience in the roadster category along with BMW Shift cam technology. It provides outstanding driving dynamics on the track and country road. In addition, the BMW M 1000 R offers a super-sporty country road use which supplies maximum torque in the low and medium rev range.
BMW builds the new high-performance 2023 M 1000 R with a lighter sport exhaust system, refined rear-wheel traction in all gears, a 220-mm rear steel disc, and upgraded M brakes with 320-mm front aluminum discs. Furthermore, the BMW 1000 R offers four ride modes (Race, Rain, Road, and Dynamic), three Race Pro race modes, a Shift Assistant Pro, three adjustable throttle characteristics, and a slip/assist clutch.
BMW allows buyers to equip the M 1000 R with the Competition package just like the BMW M’s vehicles. This package includes a passenger kit and seat cover, carbon wheels, a Black Storm Metallic/M Motorsport finish, and an M Carbon Package. However, the M Carbon Package comprises carbon front and rear fenders, tank covers (left and right), chain guard, and an air box cover.
