BMW Motorrad Draws a Crowd of 37,000 Enthusiasts for Berlin Celebration

BMW Motorrad Days and Pure & Crafted Festival brings fans from across the globe to the German capital for BMW Motorrad’s 100th anniversary. A crowd of 37,000 enthusiasts commemorated BMW Motorrad in Berlin at the 21st BMW Motorrad Days held from 7 to 9 July, drawing fans worldwide. Likewise, the Pure&Crafted Festival was held in Berlin on 7 and 8 July with about 5,000 guests.

This year’s BMW Motorrad Days was entirely devoted to the BMW 100th anniversary celebration. Visitors with and without BMW motorcycles attended from Germany and its environs, with precisely over 60 nations in attendance. With many visitors from Italy, the UK, and France, the second BMW Motorrad Days ever held in Berlin draws many guests from the Berlin-Brandenburg area.

Several events occurred in the halls and Summer Garden at Messe Berlin alongside the shows in the original Motodrom, and guests could appreciate unique custom motorcycles in the Heritage region. The event’s primary focus was the BMW Motorrad brand experience, along other side attractions, exhibiting more than 60 new motorcycle models and accessories.

To mark this celebration, most of the BMW Motorrad Days visitors were stunned at a special exhibition that includes motorbikes and a world of experience devoted to each of the decades of BMW Motorrad’s 100-year history.

During guided tours to the BMW Motorrad plant in Berlin Spandau, precisely 1,600 visitors have a first-hand experience of how BMW motorcycles are made. BMW Motorrad organized special treats for enthusiasts of the BMW GS models.

Fans were permitted to ride the latest BMW S 1000 models on a 2.7-km 10-metre-wide race track known as the Spreewaldring, with experienced instructors from MotorRacingSchool offering professional guidance. Visitors also experienced race taxi drives in BMW M2 vehicles several times daily.

Alongside the BMW Motorrad Days, music lovers were entertained at the Pure&Crafted Festival. This festival was originally established in Berlin in 2015 at the initiative of BMW Motorrad. This festival allows fans to appreciate a unique blend of music, lifestyle, motorcycle, and culture.
