The BMW 400 GT is a Gran Turismo version with an increased comfort range that is suitable for touring. Meanwhile, the BMW C 400 X stands out with amplified dynamic characteristics in urban mobility. The brand has fine-tuned these two mid-size scooters and added technical improvements like new motorcycle features, accessories, and colors.
With the latest EU-5+ homologation and ABS Pro with DBC, DTC, and MSR as standard on the BMW C 400 GT and BMW C 400 X, both motorcycles offer dynamic, carefree scooter fun. The BMW C 400 GT and C 400 X have a proven single-cylinder engine with an output of 25kW (34 hp) @ 7,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 35 Nm @ 5 750 rpm.
BMW Motorrad’s engineering team equipped the BMW C 400 GT and BMW C 400 X with BMW Motorrad ABS Pro as standard. It prevents the wheels from locking even when you engage the brake level quickly and minimizes abrupt changes in steering force, preventing the unwanted lifting of the motorcycle during shock braking. In addition, the ABS-assisted braking at a lean angle offers more safety, especially when braking in a corner.
The Dynamic Brake Control (DBC) function integrated with the ABS Pro provides a sensitive response and elevated braking and driving stability with the best possible deceleration, even when entering corners. The DBC identifies a simultaneous acceleration request by the driver as implausible as soon as the sensor box delivers a specific deceleration value during braking, preventing the throttle valve from opening. Consequently, the motorcycle remains stable, and the braking distance is shortened. Also, the hazard light activates automatically if you reach a defined deceleration force.
A large and perfectly readable 6.5-inch TFT display is standard on the BMW C 400 GT and BMW C 400 X. It provides an outstanding variety of information, display quality, and unmatched user-friendliness. Alongside the BMW Motorrad Connected App, the display is connected to the multi-controller on the left handlebar assembly and can be operated safely, conveniently, and quickly. Additionally, the BMW C 400 GT and BMW C 400 X now have more storage space below the seat, allowing more luggage on every journey.
